Almost everyone has a reason not to get a scooter yet. Here are the ones we hear most.
“I don’t want to look old.”
A modern scooter looks less like medical equipment and more like getting on with your day. Many Pride models even come in a choice of colors.
“I’ll just use a cane a while longer.”
A cane helps with balance, not distance. A scooter handles the long walks, so you can save your energy for the short ones.
“My driveway is too steep.”
Four-wheel and heavy-duty models are built with stability in mind. Tell us about your driveway, and we'll recommend one rated for the slope.
“I won’t know how to use it.”
We set it up at your home and practice with you until you're comfortable. Most scooters steer with a handlebar and move with a simple thumb lever.
Where would you like to begin?
Each choice leads to the Pride scooters built for it.
An afternoon at the Reagan Library, a day at the Simi Valley Town Center or a program at the senior center asks more of a scooter than a quick errand. A hard seat and a short battery can end the outing early. Full-size scooters add comfort, a smoother ride and more range.
Victory LX Sport 4-Wheel
Model S710LXWMSRP $3,810
Simi Valley stretches from end to end, and a slow scooter makes every trip long.
The Victory LX Sport reaches 8 mph and travels up to 19.7 miles per charge, so crossing the valley takes far less time.
Stiff fingers make small charging plugs frustrating, and rough pavement leaves you sore.
Charge360 connects magnetically, robust suspension smooths the ride, and a convenient lever adjusts the tiller. It is made in the U.S.A. with foreign and domestic parts and includes EZ Turn technology.
Condos, townhomes and garages full of things collected over the years leave little room for a scooter that doesn't fold. Folding scooters collapse in one piece and stow upright or flat, out of the way until you need them.
Go Go Carbon
Model SC25MMSRP $4,789
Lifting a heavy scooter is out, and leaving one outside a store worries you.
The foldable Go Go Carbon weighs just 35 pounds and uses NFC technology for enhanced security.
A full day of errands and visits needs a battery that keeps up.
The i-Go comes with all-day power, speed and versatility to take you there and back again. Pride classifies the i-Go as a personal vehicle, not a medical device.
Simi Valley errands usually start with the car: Adventist Health Simi Valley, the grocery store, family in Thousand Oaks or the San Fernando Valley. If lifting a scooter into the trunk is a struggle, you stay home. Pride's Go Go series takes apart into pieces light enough to lift and fits in most trunks.
Go Go Endurance AL+
Model SC54ALX - 8AHMSRP $2,499
Rough roads and speed bumps rattle a small scooter from end to end.
Full suspension absorbs the jolts, and a lightweight aluminum frame is easier to lift into the car. EZ Turn and Charge360 add premium convenience.
An evening event ends after dark, and the walk to the car makes you uneasy.
Front and rear pathway lights brighten your path, a modern deck gives your legs room, and the angle-adjustable tiller fits your reach. EZ Turn Technology and Charge360 magnetic charging are included.
Loading a scooter on a sloped driveway feels awkward and tiring.
Feather-touch disassembly separates the pieces quickly with a light touch, and EZ Turn, Charge360 and an angle-adjustable tiller make the ride easy, too.
Four wheels feel steadier, but narrow store aisles make turning a worry.
Pride's patented EZ Turn Technology gives this scooter what Pride calls the best turning radius in the industry, so four-wheel stability comes with easy turns.
The trails at Corriganville Park, hillside streets in Wood Ranch and grassy parks can stop a standard scooter, and a larger rider on a small scooter never feels secure. Heavy-duty and outdoor scooters bring the power, tires and suspension to go with confidence.
Baja Wrangler 2
Model BA401 - 75AHMSRP $7,692
Desert trips and mountain drives were your favorite escapes, and you miss them.
The Baja Wrangler 2 brings unprecedented outdoor capability, with large tires, full suspension and dual hydraulic brakes.
Within each family, models run from highest to lowest price. MSRP is Pride Mobility's list price as of September 2026 and may change, so call for our current price.

Can I visit the Reagan Library on a scooter?
Museums set their own policies for personal mobility devices and accessible parking. Check with the library before your visit, and bring a fully charged scooter for a long day.
Can I ride a scooter on the Arroyo Simi trail?
Multi-use trails are shared with walkers and cyclists, and rules for motorized devices can change. Check the current rules before you ride, and stay on paved sections.
Should I choose 3 wheels or 4?
If your driveway or street has a slope, four wheels add welcome stability. Three wheels give more legroom and a tighter turn indoors, and Pride's EZ Turn models give you four-wheel stability with a much tighter turn.
Do you offer financing or used scooters?
Yes. You can finance a new scooter or buy used at half off the regular price, subject to stock.
Does Medicare cover a mobility scooter?
Some Pride scooters may qualify for Medicare coverage when medically necessary and prescribed. Coverage depends on your situation, so call us and we'll explain your options.
