In Hesperia, the pavement ends fast.

Big lots, dirt roads and long distances between everything. The High Desert gives you room to breathe, but it asks a lot of your legs.

So your property shrinks to the porch.

The walk to the mailbox, the garden out back, the neighbor's place down the road. When uneven ground feels risky, you stop going, and the land you love becomes a view from the window.

The right scooter is made for this ground.

Outdoor scooters with big tires and suspension carry you across dirt and gravel, and travel models ride along to Victorville and beyond. We'll help you choose, then arrange delivery and set-up at your home.

Heavy-duty and outdoor mobility scooters

Hesperia is full of dirt roads, gravel driveways and big lots that stop a standard scooter in its tracks, and a larger rider on a small scooter never feels secure. Heavy-duty and outdoor scooters bring the power, big tires and suspension that High Desert ground demands.

  1. Call us

Tell us about your property, your roads, the car you drive and how far you usually go.

  2. Get a recommendation

We'll suggest the few models that fit, and you're welcome to test-drive them at our Burbank showroom.

  3. Delivery up the hill

We arrange delivery to your home in Hesperia, set up your scooter and show you how to drive and charge it.

  4. Covered for the long run

Our two showrooms

Questions from Hesperia customers

Do you deliver mobility scooters to Hesperia?

Yes. Call us to schedule delivery to your home in Hesperia. We'll set up your scooter, show you how to drive and charge it, and arrange service after the sale.

How far is your showroom from Hesperia?

Our showroom is at 907 N. Hollywood Way in Burbank, roughly 85 miles away. Most Hesperia customers choose by phone, and we'll have your short list ready if you'd like to visit.

Can a scooter handle dirt roads and gravel?

Travel and standard scooters are made mostly for pavement. For dirt roads, gravel driveways and big properties, look at Pride's outdoor models, such as the Pursuit 2, the PX4 and the Baja line, which are built for outdoor terrain. Tell us about your ground, and we'll recommend one.

What about wind, dust and cold?

Store and charge your scooter indoors or under cover, and wipe off dust after rides on dirt. Batteries perform best when they're kept away from extreme heat and cold.

Should I choose 3 wheels or 4?

On uneven High Desert ground, four wheels add welcome stability. Three wheels give more legroom and a tighter turn indoors. Pride's EZ Turn models combine four-wheel stability with a much tighter turn.

Do you offer financing, rentals or used scooters?

Yes. You can finance a new scooter, rent one by the day, week or month, or buy used at half off the regular price, subject to stock. We also buy, sell and trade.

Does Medicare cover a mobility scooter?

Some Pride scooters may qualify for Medicare coverage when medically necessary and prescribed. Coverage depends on your situation, so call us and we'll explain your options.
